Who we are

What we collect

• When you join: your email address, the nickname you choose, your age range, and your mobile number if you give it (for WhatsApp updates). If you sign in with Google, Apple or Spotify we receive your name, email address and profile picture from them. We only use these to create your fan account and sign you in: we keep your email address with your account, never show your real name or picture, and never sell or share these details with anyone. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see below).
• What you do here: which songs you play and how much of each you hear, your comments and star ratings, poll votes, gigs you say you're going to, the fan group you're in, what you share and who invited you.
• Roughly where you are: your country and town, worked out from your internet connection (accurate to about 10 km). We never use GPS and we don't store your IP address.
• Visits: anonymous visit counts and where a visit came from (for example a fan's TikTok link, or one of our posts or ads), whether the join form was opened, and how much of a preview is heard. If you join, where you first came from is kept with your fan account. You can switch this off below.

Why

To give you the songs, run comments, points, rewards, groups and gigs, tell Nandi and her label how the music is landing (as totals, never your personal details), and email you about Nandi's music. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you join.

What other fans see

Only your nickname, your points, your group, and your comments once they're approved. Nobody sees your email, phone number, age or location. "Here now" and "listening now" counts are anonymous.

Cookies and storage

We use no advertising or tracking cookies, nothing that follows you to other sites, and no Google Analytics. This is everything the site keeps in your browser:

• Your sign-in (if you're a fan): keeps you signed in. Needed for the site to work.
• A saved copy of the site's words, menu and points: so pages open quickly. Needed for the site to work.
• Who shared the link you arrived on (and a group invite): so the fan who shared it gets the credit if you join. Kept until you join or clear your browser.
• A visit number for this tab, deleted when you close it: so a visit is only counted once in our statistics. Statistics only, never used to work out who you are.
• Which link first brought you here (for example one of our posts or ads), kept for 30 days: so we know which posts bring fans. If you join, it's saved with your fan account. Statistics only; switching statistics off below stops it. A link like nandi.art/tiktok leaves a short-lived cookie that the page reads once and deletes.
• Your shop bag and delivery country, if you use the shop: so your bag is still there next time. Kept until you buy or clear your browser.
• Your choice below, if you switch statistics off.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without storing anything in your browser.

Where it's stored

With Supabase (our database) and Cloudflare (our web host). Data may be stored outside the UK under approved safeguards.

The shop

Payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure page: your card details never reach nandi.art. Your delivery address goes to Stripe and to Printful, who print and post your order. We keep your order number, what you bought, the price, your country and the order's progress, so you and we can see it; we don't keep your address. Stripe and Printful handle your details under their own privacy policies. Fans under 16 are never shown suggestions to buy anything.

Age

You must be 13 or older to join.

Signing in with Google, Apple or Spotify

You can join or sign in with your Google, Apple or Spotify account instead of an email code. When you do, that company tells us your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else: we never see your password, contacts, files or anything else in your account.

• How we use it: only to create your fan account, sign you in, and send you the emails you agreed to (gig news and Nandi's music). You still choose a nickname: your real name and picture are never shown to anyone.
• Where it's kept: with your fan account in our database (Supabase), for as long as you're a fan.
• Who we share it with: nobody. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never pass it on, except to the services that run the site for us (Supabase and Cloudflare).
• Deleting it: email [email protected] and we'll delete your details and close your account. You can also remove Nandi.Art from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections.

Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your rights

Unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email us at [email protected] to see, correct or delete your details, or to close your account. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

WhatsApp

The WhatsApp channel is one-way: only Nandi's team posts. Nobody can see your phone number, including us and other followers. You can unfollow any time in WhatsApp.

1. Be kind. No bullying, hate, or putting anyone down, including other fans.
2. Keep yourself safe. Never share personal details: no phone numbers, addresses, schools, usernames or links.
3. No private chats. Don't ask anyone to message you privately.
4. Group names follow the same rules. We can rename or close a group.
5. Everything is checked. Kind comments go up straight away; anything with swearing or a negative tone is checked first. Tap Report on anything that worries you and it's hidden until we've looked. We remove anything that breaks these rules and can close accounts.
